RT torbeam commissioning and KSTAR shape development

Purpose of Experiment

The objective of this experiment is to develop the KSTAR-relevant shape control and commission the revived rt-TORBEAM in DIII-D PCS. The KSTAR-relevant shape control will play an important role in developing the steady-state operation scenario in both DIII-D and KSTAR. Thus, this experiment will contribute to a major milestone in the collaboration of the DIII-D and KSTAR. The rt-TORBEAM code will support the expansion of EC power at DIII-D by allowing the EC positioning to be feedback-controlled.
